Panama's public works ministry (MOP) has launched a tender to upgrade streets in different subdivisions of Panamá district, in the province of the same name.
The works will be carried out specifically in the subdivisions of Ancón, Calidonia, Chorrillo, Bella Vista and San Francisco.
According to the timetable posted on government procurement website PanamaCompra, a clarification meeting has been scheduled for March 20, with the date to submit and open bids set for April 24. The reference price is US$30mn.
The works will consist of laying hot-mix asphalt concrete on the roads, as well as carrying out the respective drainage works.
The project is expected to be completed 180 days from the date of the signing of a decree authorizing work to begin.
