Colombian city Baranquilla's transport system operator Transmetro has extended the deadline for five road improvement tenders to April 30, paper La República reported.
Transmetro originally scheduled April 15 as the deadline to receive offers, but decided to extend it at the request of interested firms.
The five tenders aim to improve 29 feeder roads, 18 of which are located in the Barranquilla district, 10 in Soledad municipality and one in Malambo.
The winners will have six months to complete repair and rehabilitation works, the information said.
