Cable Visión of Costa Rica will grant rights to ICE

The company Cable Vision of Costa Rica SA (CVCR) will transfer the rights of its operations, as well as its obligations, to the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE).

The decision was taken by the ICE Board of Directors to strengthen the services offered by the cable company. The same, was communicated this Tuesday, December 4 to the Comptroller General of the Republic.

The figure of Assignment of Rights and Obligations will allow to maintain and strengthen the offer of telecommunications and internet services provided by the cable company, in accordance with the business strategy of Grupo ICE.

The Corporate Telecommunications Directorate (DCT) of the Institute will be responsible for directing the transition, operation and commercialization of the services currently offered by CVCR.

The Council instructed the DCT to present in the next month, the action plan to be implemented to assume the operations, which contemplates the measures in the technical, operational, financial, commercial and human resources fields.

ICE guarantees the continuity of operations. There will be no type of affectation in the service that is currently provided to the clients.
