Peru's energy and mines ministry has granted company Sowitec two temporary concessions for wind power generation projects totaling 390MW.
The projects are Lagunitos (150MW) and Pampa Alta (240MW), the country's official gazette reported.
Sowitec submitted the temporary concession requests in June. The company has two years to carry out feasibility studies.
Lagunitos studies will be carried out in La Brea district of Talara province in Piura department. Pampa Alta work will be carried out in Ilo and El Algarrobal districts of Ilo province in Moquegua department.
