Chevron Brasil Upstream Frade is the Brazilian unit of US firm Chevron, and is engaged in the exploration, production, manufacture, transportation, refining, storage and trading of crude oil, gas and petroleum products. In the South American country, Chevron Brasil Upstream Frade is focused on oil and gas exploration and production. The company holds a 51% interest in the Frade field, located in the Campos basin, where it also owns a 30% non-operating working interest in the Maromba field and owns 37.5% of the Papa Terra project, operated by Petrobras. Its assets in Brazil also include a 50% operating interest in block CE-M715, in the Ceará basin.
