Description

MSU Energy is an Argentine firm based in Buenos Aires belonging to Grupo MSU –created in 1860– and composed of Río Energy, UGEN and UENSA, which is aimed at the generation of electric power. In 2016 and 2017, Grupo MSU was allocated the operation of three thermoelectric plants of 150MW each: General Rojo and Barker, located in San Nicolás and Benito Juárez in the Province of Buenos Aires; and Villa María, located in General San Martín, Province of Córdoba; as well as EPC contracts to expand the generation capacity of the plants to 250MW through its conversion to combined cycle stations by including another gas turbine.
