Description

Gold Fields La Cima S.A. (La Cima) is a Peruvian branch of the South African gold producer Gold Fields Limited established in 2003 to mine non ferrous metals in Peru. Based in Santiago de Surco, La Cima explores and exploits its gold and copper project Cerro Corona (4,365 ha), located in the Department of Cajamarca, which hosts an open-pit mine with reserves of 1.3 Moz of gold and 456 Mlb of copper, and a concentrate plant (832 tph).
