Description

Megacable is a Mexican telecommunication company aimed at the installation, operation, maintenance and exploitation of distribution systems of cable TV signals, internet, and fixed and mobile telephony; and offers solutions for the business sector. Megacable was created in 1982 as Televisión por Cable, its headquarters are located in the city of Guadalajara and offers its services in over 25 states of Mexico. In 2013, Megacable acquired 51% of the society Ho1a to strenghten its position in the business and corporative markets and the public sector, widen its solution services on telecom, data and information; and in 2014 the company bought 53% of Productora y Comercializadora de Televisión, S. A. de C. V. (PCTV Group), a company aimed at the trading of TV signals, the sale of TV ads, production and coproduction of programs, and acquisition of broadcasting rights of movies, series and cartoons.
