Description

The Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) is an independent Mexican public agency created in 2013 to replace the Federal Commission of Telecommunications (Cofetel). Based in the City of Mexico, the IFT regulates and promotes the efficient development and competence of telecommunications and radio broadcasting; promotes the access to relative services and technologies; and supervises the use and exploitation of the radio spectrum, infrastructure, networks and the provision of services.
